Climate Change Agreements (CCA)
An introduction to CCA
The CCA scheme allows eligible organisations to receive a discount on a levy paid by all businesses via their energy bills. The impact of the CCA can be considerable, with many businesses obtaining a rebate of up to 92%, in return for a commitment to reduce energy consumption.
Do you qualify?
To enter into a CCA, you must have an eligible process and agree to energy reduction targets.

Helping you achieve the Climate Change Agreement rebate
- To achieve and maintain the rebate, targets are set in relation to energy reduction.
- Annual data submissions are also required to the relevant Trade Association. We work closely with you to manage your CCA, ensuring that data is recorded, managed and submitted appropriately. This is vital if you are to comply with the scheme and achieve the maximum rebate available to you.
- To safeguard the rebate when targets are not achieved, we assist in the purchasing of Carbon which allows organisations to remain in the scheme.
Our CCA service includes:
- Identifying eligible processes and appropriate trade associations
- Detailed site investigation to understand your eligibility for the scheme
- Development of a successful application
- Implementation of energy management programme to maintain the rebate
- Ongoing management including data reporting within appropriate timescales and submitting relevant documentation on participants behalf to suppliers and HMRC
