Founded in 1867, Richard Burbidge is a family owned business and is market leader in supplying a wide range of products including Staircase & Decking Balustrade and Mouldings to the DIY, New Build and trade industry.

The project brief

We have worked at Richard Burbidge’s Chirk and Oswestry factories for almost eight years.  Our brief has been to procure utilities, monitor energy and water consumption and validate billing .  More recently we have helped the company meet its obligations under the Carbon Reduction Commitment scheme.

Key programmes have included:

•    Providing the employees of Richard Burbidge with information resulting in a number of cost-saving initiatives
•    To manage all purchasing of gas coupled with monthly invoice validation to ensure charges are correct
•    To manage the company’s Carbon Reduction Commitment registration.  This has involved the compilation and submission of energy consumption reports.
